The Late Period and Greco-Roman Egypt

The Late Period was marked by the invasion of foreign powers. Despite this, the Egyptian culture remained strong and even influenced its conquerors. The last of the pharaohs was Cleopatra VII, who ruled during the time of the Roman Empire.
